Dogs do so much to help us get over challenging times in our life with their endless optimism and their endless supply of joy. And every once in a while, we get a chance to return the favor and do something for them.
That being claimed, you should prepare to meet Nora the dog and 11-month-old child Archie. These two have been best friends since the day they first met, and their tale will definitely put a smile on your face and advise you once again just how powerful the link in between a human and a canine can actually be.
But let’s begin with the beginning. You see, Nora really did not specifically have an easy beginning in life. Actually it was quite the opposite of that. Nora comes from an abusive home and was left with massive emotional scars as a result of it. Due to extensive abuse, Nora was afraid of almost anything and anybody. Each time someone tried to come up to her, the dog would snap since she was afraid.
” Any time of day you’re likely to find a pile of kids, cats and/or dogs existing about the house somewhere,” Elizabeth Spence, Archie’s mom said.
That’s until she met baby Archie. From the second the two met, Nora accepted the child, and from that point on, the two become nearly indivisible. The child’s relaxed attitude is what firstly attracted Nora towards the child, and in time, their connection only grew stronger.
” Archie is an incredibly laid-back, pleased, good-natured baby and all the animals appear to truly react to that, especially Nora,” Spence said. “She came from an abusive background and hesitates of nearly everything. Not Archie, though. She definitely loves him!”.
Probably, the baby offers her a sense of security and safety that Nora required to overcome her hard challenging past. What a lovely duo!
