Animal control had been attempting to capture a dog that was roaming around a gated community near the hills. She was so slim that is was a wonder she was still alive. Hope For Paws was available in when Animal Control stopped working and it’s a good thing they did!
The poor pup had shed a great deal of hair, you could see her bones through her skin. Her look was completely heartbreaking. The canine was extremely afraid of humans but she couldn’t resist the cheeseburgers her rescuers happily fed her. The poor girl truly was starving.
As rescuers remained to feed her, one snuck behind her to obtain the snare ready. It would certainly be a frightening few seconds, but they needed to capture this poor pup.
She needed medical attention and a real home. The streets, or hills, are no place for canines! She deserved a real home!
Lastly, the skinny dog was delicately caught and placed into the vehicle. She was afraid but did extremely well thinking about. Her rescuers named her Edna.
When they returned to the clinical facility, they examined her for a microchip … and she had one! Turned out her original owner put her right into a brand-new home years earlier. Those owners told her that Edna had died! How horrible!
But in spite of the good news of finding Edna alive, her original owner had not been interested in taking her back. Maybe that was a blessing because … drum roll please …
Edna was placed into a wonderful foster home and from there she found her permanently family! A fantastic mom and human sister that absolutely adore her!
