Ratty and Batty were located living in deplorable conditions, without sanctuary, food or water.
To make issues worse, they had cables and ropes digging into their necks, which had actually been causing them serious pain. Locals in the area confirmed that the two dogs had been permanently chained up outdoors and ignored by their owners.
Thankfully, they were rescued by Sidewalk Specials and brought to the vet for treatment. Although both dogs were scared, their hunger got over worry and rescuers had the ability to coax them and gain their trust with food.
They instantly cut the cables and ropes off, which probably made them feel a lot better currently.
When they arrived at the veterinarian, they were examined and diagnosed with tick bite fever, poor nutrition, mange and anemia. Batty also had an old break in his back leg, which will sadly need amputation because it was left untreated for greater than a year.
Ratty and Batty, who are estimated to be around two years of ages, are now looking for their forever homes.
