Starving Puppy Abandoned in Landfill Survives on Trash and Lives in a Cardboard Box

A Heartbreaking Beginning

No dog should live without a family and a cozy home. Sadly, many pups out there struggle to survive in harsh conditions.

Streets, landfills, and remote, deserted areas are just some of the places where rescuers find thousands of dogs every day. It’s absolutely heartbreaking.

One such story was recently captured by a compassionate Animal Shelter team. A tiny puppy, no older than a few weeks, was found living in a cardboard box, far away from everyone. Without a mom or siblings, he desperately needed help and someone to show him love.

Struggling to Survive

When a kind-hearted woman named Maria received a call about the puppy, later named Bublik, she didn’t hesitate. She immediately rushed to the location to find the poor pup, but the rescue wasn’t easy.

Bublik was living alone in a landfill. Given the lack of other dogs around, Maria assumed he had been abandoned. Sadly, he had no one to help him sooner.

Bublik had taken shelter in an old cardboard box, hiding from the rain and predators. His days were spent searching for food in the garbage, but this was often unsuccessful. He was forced to eat trash, which left him with a severely swollen belly and constant stomach aches from consuming pathogens.

When Maria arrived, Bublik started wagging his tail, as if he knew that everything was about to change for the better.

A New Beginning

Bublik was immediately taken to a nearby vet clinic, where he stayed for several days. He needed 24/7 care and medication to address his stomach issues. Additionally, he had eye problems that required treatment.

The vet team quickly fell in love with Bublik. Beneath the scars of his previous life was a playful and loving puppy eager for a family.

Just a few weeks later, Bublik’s wish came true. A woman reached out to his rescuers to inquire about his situation, and soon, Bublik found his forever home.

A Happily Ever After

Bublik and his new mom bonded instantly. This little hero was overjoyed to finally experience the love and warmth of a family.

Even though he still needed some treatment, Bublik had left his past behind. All he wanted now was to spend time with his new human and show what a great companion he could be.

Months later, Bublik fully recovered. His eyes and stomach were healed, and he was ready to enjoy his new home and embark on many exciting future adventures.
