Prison breaks usually aren’t a laughing matter, but one recent incident in Marietta, Georgia has folks chuckling.
When six puppies made their escape from a fenced area, the Marietta Police Department didn’t miss a beat.
They quickly set up their “PAW Patrol” task force, named “Puppies Aimlessly Wandering,” to bring the furry fugitives back home.

The breakout took place in May 2022, and these little escapees managed to find their way to Cobb Parkway, possibly heading to the famed Big Chicken, their supposed target.
Under the guidance of Officer Covino, dubbed the senior “puppy whisperer,” the police efficiently “apprehended” all six and returned them to their owners.

In a light-hearted Facebook post, the department joked about the incident, saying, “You just can’t make this stuff up! 😎😂” True to their words, the post did bring smiles to many faces.

Roswell Police Department even chimed in, expressing interest in joining the now-viral “PAW Patrol.”
Many feel every department could use such a fun and furry task force!
Beyond the humor, Marietta Police emphasized the importance of pet owners making sure their yards are secure and pets have ID tags.
