Many deserving dogs wait for their permanently family at shelters, rescues, and foster homes all throughout the world. Unfortunately, some never locate a place to call home. One such canine was likely going to spend her whole life at the Villalobos rescue center run by Tia Torres and her incredible family.

Summer, a senior canine at Villalobos, has been with the Torres family longer than any other canine at their facility. Tia practically gave up hope that Summer would certainly have ever before her gladly ever before after. The Torres family did their best to accommodate the sweet pooch and have provided her the love and interest she is worthy of.

Tia says, “She and my kids basically grew up together.” That’s how long Summertime has actually been at Villalobos. Since 8 weeks old, Summer has lived at the rescue facility. She is now getting on in age. It breaks Tia’s heart that no one ever stepped up to take the wonderful girl in.

” Through no fault of her own, she’s still right here. She got ignored,” Tia claims in the video below. Now, Summer’s age is affecting her physically. She has bad arthritis, so bad in fact that her legs are awkwardly curved. She relocates a bit slower. But mentally, she is a pleased, happy dog.

There are many canine residents at the rescue center because the Torres family does not have the heart to transform any type of dog away. As adopters come in seeking the perfect companion, Tia and her family try to listen to what they are looking for. The family also learns about their homes, and matches them up appropriately.

They’re normally provided several canines to select from. The families then meet the ‘candidates’ and choose the one that best suits them. In spite of being an option many times for adopters, Summer was never ever chosen.

Then, miraculously, an application came in especially for Summer. Eileen, the potential adopter, saw Summer on the Villalobos senior page and knew immediately that Summer belonged with her. The Torres family could not wait for Eileen to come and meet the deserving dog.

At the center, Summer slowly walks into space, her age obviously showing. However this doesn’t deter Eileen. She gets onto the floor, at Summer’s level, to say hi.

Summer’s tail starts to wag. It’s the sweetest point to see! The Torres family is constantly upfront and fair to all the adopters and discusses that with Summer’s advanced age and health, they question she will make it a full year. Would certainly this deter Eileen?

Eileen simply claims: “She needs us.”

Eileen after that explains that if she really did not adopt Summer and found out she passed away while at the center, never having the chance to be in a home, it would certainly break her heart. The next step for Eileen was a no-brainer.
