According to court documents obtained by The Washington Message, Anderson took his 7-year-old kid to a yard in King George, Virginia, in 2016 to watch the kid’s favored dog– called Cookie Monster– fight 2 other canines.

Anderson later told the FBI that he was confident that Cookie Beast would certainly win, and he did. Both other dogs passed away from their injuries, and one was left in a dumpster, the newspaper reports.

Anderson begged guilty to conspiracy to engage in dogfighting tasks, in addition to one count of causing a child under the age of sixteen to attend an illegal pet fight venture.

Moody and Powe also each pleaded guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to engage in dogfighting activities.

Moody will serve one year and eventually behind bars, Powe will offer the exact same sentence as Anderson, the Justice Department claimed.
