Amanda Jones, a photographer with two decades of experience capturing canine moments, recently unveiled her latest series titled “Dog Years: Faithful Friends Then & Now”.

This series beautifully contrasts images of dogs during their puppy years with those in their senior years.

The passing of her dachshund, Lily, during the creation of her book deeply moved and inspired Jones.

Corbet: Two years and 11 years

Poppy: One year and seven years

Fred: Two years and 10 years

Copper: Three years and 10 years.

Kayden and Brodie: 11 months and five years, and seven and 12 years

Audrey: Three years and 12 years.

Rufus: Six months and 13 years.

Sydney and Savannah: 16 and five months, and 10 and nine years.

Maddy: Five years and 10 years.

Abigale: Four months and eight years.

Lily: Eight months and 15 years.

Maddie and Ellie: Seven and six years, and 14 and 13 years.

As Jones told the Daily Mail, “Some don’t seem to age at all, yet others show the signs quite openly in their eyes, their jowls, and their gray hair. It is this semblance of ourselves and our souls in their eyes that gives us such a deep connection with dogs. One thing that remains constant is the love people and dogs have for each other. That does not change, no matter how many dog years go by.”
