Paws 4 Hope got a phone call concerning a senior dog who was tied up without food or water. Four years prior, his owner died, which left him with an older adult who ended up ignoring him.
The 12-year-old dog was suffering from severe skin issues, had no teeth, and was incredibly filthy and hadn’t received a bath in who recognizes for how long.
They decided to call this sweet dog “Roger,” and rushed him to the nearest veterinarian for proper medical care.

Roger was dealt with for his ailments and provided a much-needed bath prior to going to live with a caring foster. He is currently receiving treatment for anemia, intestinal parasites, as well as skin and ear issues.
With the love and support from his rescuers, veterinarian staff and foster mother, Roger was transformed not just on the outside, but on the inside as well.
