It’s constantly been believed that dogs and cats are total revers and mortal enemies, however it turns out that couldn’t be further from the reality.

As various as they might be, there’s still an underlying sense of protection and survival with animals that often transcends species. And let’s face it, acts of generosity are not a new thing when it concerns our loving dogs.

In the video clip below, a canine is caught on cam assisting a stray cat in need.

The canine noticed the cat was freezing out in the snow, and also his instincts kicked in to drag the cat all the way to his outside dog house to provide her shelter and a location to keep warm.

The dog’s owner listened to the ruckus and taped the brave and heartfelt moment for all to see.

While there isn’t much information on the video and ideally the cat was taken in for appropriate treatment eventually– this dog’s amazing actions and compassion are worth the recognition.
