This dog avoided his own kidnapping by alerting store owners regarding the bad purposes of the people he was with.

Unless you’re Dr. Dolittle, you can not speak with animals, but they certainly know just how to communicate. An lovable five-month-old Australian shepherd that listens to the name Vango did specifically that and rescued himself from the hands of dog nappers. The clever pooch walked in a store with his dog nappers, and the four-footer cleverly alerted the store owners that something had not been right.

Everything happened at an animal store in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. Vango kept constantly barking and demanding the store owner’s attention.

Yves Jodoin functions as a employee at the store and is likewise a dog trainer at Au Royaume des Animaux. He definitely knows a thing or two about the actions of canines and was quickly able to find out that the whole situation was extremely off.

In the beginning, Yves just though that the four-footer was hungry and was barking since he was wishing for a treat. When Vango continued barking also after he received a cookie, Yves started to get more and more suspicious.

” The dog was barking, the dog was poking and he truly wanted my interest,” employee and dog trainer Yves Jodoin claimed to CBC Canada. “I was giving the dog cookies, but the dog was still barking.”

When the couple who came into the store with Vance couldn’t even answer standard questions regarding the canine, the staff member began to place things together.

Suspicions began to arise, and as Yves began to ask increasingly more standard questions regarding the dog, it only became worse. The couple didn’t also recognize just how old he was, whether he was sterilized or not, what type of food he usually liked or where he came from and just how much they spent for him.

” They were evading the questions,” the man recalls.

Luckily, one more staff member, Lydia Blouin, also saw that something was off. Lydia checked local social media pages, to see if there was anything about missing pets. It really did not take long before they found Vango’s photo online, as he was reported missing. The dog was obviously last seen at home in Buckingham, only a couple of hrs before he arrived at the store.

Yves then had a sudden realization– he already knew Vango since he trained him when he was still a puppy!

” Then I said, ‘Vango, come!’ And the dog was responding, he was jumping,” the canine trainer. “All along he was barking and jabbing, attempting to say, ‘ Hi, I’m not the dog they say I am.’”.

The couple had nothing else option but to confess that it wasn’t their dog. They claimed that they located Vango in the woods, and wished to keep him as their own support animal because the woman could not afford a dog and remained in bad wellness. The woman in question was of course, busted, and Yves managed to encourage her to leave the animal at the store.

The employee after that called Vango’s real owner, Josée Francoeur.

Vango’s real owner was totally in shock, as she recognized that her pooch wouldn’t simply escape on his own. One moment, Vango remained in the fenced yard, and the next moment, he was just gone.

” Is it possible that somebody took him? And I was believing, ‘ That could do that? It’s impossible!”.

The telephone call from Yves was a total relief.

” I can’t speak about it without crying,” she said. “Imagine, If those individuals didn’t go to that pet store, I would have lost my dog permanently.”.

Vango had not been microchipped, but Josée already made an visit to get it done and prevent things like this in the future.

As for the dognappers, she filed an official issue at the local cops division.

” I don’t wish to create them troubles. We do not know why they did it. But at the same time, they took my baby,” the owner. “I intend to discourage others from doing this.”.

Thanks to Vango’s clever behavior, he is currently in the hands of his caring proprietor again. What a clever pooch!
