A rescue team received a phone call about an injured stray roaming around a nearby area. This wasn’t the typical phone call. The stray dog didn’t just require to be saved to leave the streets.
He needed to be rescued or he wouldn’t survive. The stray had a jar stuck on his head, making eating and consuming an impossibility. The poor dog can hardly breathe!
Rescuers tried to capture the pup but he continued to run till he hid below a bridge, and laid down out of breath. The animal rescuers felt they had no choice however to use a humane tranquilizer dart on the puppy. After he was shot by the dart, he escaped once again, but this time onto an active street. Vehicles whizzed by, beeping their horns. The rescuers ran after him. When the anesthesia kicked in, the tired dog laid down and waited for help.
Finally, the dog was gotten carefully and the jar was removed from his head using an unique device. The canine was sedated and very sleepy, however he still managed to reveal his rescuers his gratitude with some kisses. The dog, now in good hands, was taken into their car. They brought him back to the animal shelter. He was thrilled to have an actual meal and a bowl of fresh water. The rescue group posted his tale onto social media and adopters lined up to meet him. He located a forever home within a few days!
The follow-up story is of one more dog in a similar situation. Stray animals are so hopeless to find food that getting their heads captured in a jar is not that out of the ordinary. It’s heartbreaking, to claim the least. This poor canine had been straying about with his head captured inside a plastic jug for greater than two weeks!
The rescue team additionally had to chase him down, after he ran away from them consistently. Fortunately they managed to corner him in a large area. He finally gave up to the kind humans, knowing he had little power left. They also used a special too and released him from the jar. He is currently safe and back at their shelter.
