Dogs, with their unwavering loyalty, are always by our side, cheering us up with their playful antics. But what if the tables turn and they’re left in the lurch?
Enter Halo, a spirited 6-year-old pitbull. Abandoned by her family, she faced the bleak reality of a life without love and care.

However, destiny had other plans. Rags 2 Riches Animal Rescue became her beacon of hope. While shelters are no paradise, especially for pitbulls who often grapple with undeserved stereotypes, Halo held on.
A serendipitous social media post introduced her to Lieutenant Mickey Curran of the Upland Borough Police Department.
