A Dog Groomer Opened Her Shop At Night To Cut A Stray Dog’s Hair

In the quiet hours of one fateful night near the serene town of Oviedo, Florida, a couple was navigating the roads under the moon’s pale glow.

To their shock and dismay, they discovered a stray dog, abandoned and forlorn on the cold, desolate stretch of the roadside. The sight was heart-wrenching; the dog’s fur was a dense mat of neglect, a clear sign of the grievous carelessness he had suffered for the majority of his short four-year life.

So dire was his condition that he barely mustered a reaction to their approach.

Although the kind-hearted couple wanted to help, they found themselves unable to accommodate him for the night.

Driven by concern and hope, they turned to the ever-powerful realm of social media, sending out a heartfelt plea for assistance.

Among the sea of voices, one compassionate soul responded promptly – the dedicated groomer, Kari Falla.

Falla, in her interview with Inside Edition, deeply expressed her concern, stating, “When a dog is matted that badly, it can cause its blood flow to stop as well as bruising to the dog.”

Recognizing the gravity of the situation and the urgency of the care needed, Falla didn’t waste a moment.

She rushed to her well-renowned salon, BGE Grooming, disregarding the unusual hours, and promptly opened its doors at the stroke of midnight, all to provide this forsaken pup a chance at relief.

With unwavering determination and a heart full of empathy, she worked diligently into the wee hours of the morning, dedicating herself until 3 AM.

The once matted and disheveled dog was carefully shaved, bathed with the utmost care, and prepared for the next critical step of his recovery.

As dawn approached, Falla, not stopping at just grooming, made sure to take him to the vet for a comprehensive check-up.

The resilient dog was aptly named “Lucky.” Despite the revelation that he was both deaf and blind, his spirit wasn’t broken.

With time and care, Lucky found solace and began his healing journey in a nurturing foster home.
