It’s easy to imagine Officer Patrick Hennesy desiring nothing more than to get home and also creep into bed while driving home from his shift at 4:30 in the morning.

But when duty calls, a great cop is on top of it! So when he noticed two pit bulls sitting in the road, he pulled over to see what was going on.

The dogs were huddled up together and didn’t run when come close to. That’s when the policeman noticed blood on the ground. Backup showed up, and they traced the blood back to one of the strays. The poor thing must’ve been struck by a car, so they called for help and waited till it could arrive.

They did everything they could to comfort the pit bulls in the meantime, and their patience and diligence would pay off in the end! Pet Services showed up, and also the two canines were eventually taken to the shelter and called Liberty and Justice. The pups are much better currently, and also the rescuing officers even paid them a go to lately to see how they’re doing! Got ta love stories like these.
