However, fate initially seemed to have other plans, as Gilbert was adopted by another family. But destiny intervened, and just three days later, Aimee received a call. The family couldn’t keep Gilbert due to their other dog’s jealousy. Without a second thought, Aimee rushed to welcome Gilbert into her life.
